Children are our future. They carry our hopes and dreams for the world. But to realize these dreams - to truly fulfill their potential - children must be allowed to live in a world that protects them, listens to their needs and respects their rights and dignity.

Plan Canada is part of the international organization Plan, a humanitarian, child-centered development organization working with families and their communities to meet the needs of children around the world. Non-political, and with no religious affiliations, Plan aims to build a better world for children, now and in the future.

The Plan Canada Mission: Plan Canada strives to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of children in developing countries through a process that unites people across cultures and adds meaning and value to their lives by:

enabling children, their families and their communities to meet their basic needs and to increase their ability to participate in and benefit from their societies;

fostering relationships to increase understanding and unity among peoples of different cultures and countries;

promoting the rights and interests of the world's children.

TNI currently works with Plan across Canada, assisting them with new child sponsor acquisition and the building of new and stronger communities. TNI has helped Plan find sponsors for thousands of needy children throughout the world, and is proud to work with such an excellent organization.
