I live in the West end of Montreal (West Island) Quebec. I just wanted to send you some feedback on a meeting my wife and I had with one of your Red Cross representatives recently. She was very polite and very pleasant to talk to. Although she was quite young, my wife and I were ever so impressed with the depth, sensitivity, and true genuine beauty of her soul and character. It was a real treat and breath of fresh air to encounter such a selfless giving spirit. Her passion for her work and unmistakeable professionalism are obviously a great asset to the Canadian Red Cross. Someone of this caliber definitely needs to be recognized and lifted up in this organization, in order to tap into this wealth of joy and spirit that my wife and I experienced on that day. In closing, it would be a privilege and honour to support the Canadian Red Cross knowing that there are treasures of wonderful employees like this in this organization. Yours truly, Grant and Mary |

Good afternoon! I wanted to take this time to express my satisfaction regarding two of your representatives. Me and my husband, Rick, were greeted at our home on Wednesday evening. They did a great job at explaining Plan in more detail and were able to really answer all our questions. We had been thinking about sponsorship for a while and with our daughter Kristen (10 months) in our lives now, we felt even more of an obligation to help a child. It costs so little to us but makes such a big difference in their lives. We have really changed the way we look and spend our money and are very happy we made this decision. I want to thank the representatives for being a part of Plan and had they not come to our door and offered exceptional support, we probably wouldn't have made the decision. So thank you to them. A representative came to my door tonight, it is snowing, and cold and despite being annoyed that I had to leave my warm desk, he was such a nice guy that I was impressed right away. Not only was he out canvassing despite the not-so-nice weather, his obvious passion for his topic was inspiring. He is a total charmer, a super nice guy, and simply because of him I am going to keep the information he gave me, and that will be my charity of choice following my convocation in 2011. He is a wonderful member of your team, and deserves many commendations. Jessica F |

Hi.... 1st I feel that the canvassing program is a good idea in that you're able to reach people who, like myself, have many times thought about donating to the SickKids fund but are too busy to actually do anything about it. For me, having the canvasser come to my door has finally helped me to make the decision to make those donations which we all know is very much needed for the children and families who come to SickKids Hospital. I donate monthly to a few very necessary organizations and this is one that is necessary. Secondly, I also have to mention that the main reason I gave my canvasser time initially is because he was very identifiable, he had on the SickKids touque and SickKids identification and all the documentation. All of that was extremely important to me and I was very impressed by it. Obviously, SickKids and TNI The Network Inc. really worked hard to make sure that we didn't have to second guess the canvasser. Good on you... fantastic!! I felt very assured that I was dealing with the real thing. I don't know if this is the right department to mention this since I'm talking about the canvasser, but the young guy who came to my door was very, very, polite; friendly; considerate and informative and very professional as well. He did a good job for you and I felt pretty good in enrolling in the monthly program after listening to him. And finally needless to say at this point, I have enrolled in the $30.00 per month donation program and am looking forward to newsletters, etc to see how things are going. This evening there was a ring at the door. Oh, not another marketer, I thought. To my surprise it wasn't. It was one of your World Vision door to door representatives spreading the word. I was incredibly amazed at how engaging she was. Her passion for World Vision and her determination to spread the cause was so moving that I've decided to refrain from any other donation in order to participate in your sponsorship program. Not only was I moved by her but she also engaged my children by sharing with them the pictures and stories of the kids we would be supporting through the World Vision program. You are very fortunate and must be proud of this young lady and all her passion and dedication should not go unnoticed. Thank you for having taken the time to read this email. |
