Bonjour! J'aimerai simplement vous faire part de mes commentaires concernant un de vos representants : Felix. Quel belle surprise de voir qu'une personne s'implique pour une cause humanitaire avec autant d'ardeur, d'energie, de conviction et de joie de vivre. Je me devais de prendre le temps de vous mentionner que vous êtes tres bien represente par cette personne tres professionnel qui prend le temps de bien nous expliquer la cause, de nous montrer les brochures et de nous mettre en confiance. Je suis presentement dans une situation financiere tres precaire c'est pour cette raison que je ne puis vous aider financierement pour le moment. Mais croyez-moi, ce n'est pas parce que le representant n'a pas ete en mesure de me faire comprendre le besoin ou que je n'avais pas confiance en la cause! I am currently in a very precarious financial situation for this reason I cannot help you financially at this time. But believe me, it's not because the representative was not able to make me understand the need or that I had no confidence in the cause! Saade s'est montre courtois et d'une convivialite remarquable faisant passer son message sans que l'on se sente harcele le moins du monde. Le contact humain qu'il sait etablir a en effet ete un des facteurs determinent a ce que je prete l'oreille aux dispositions que vous avez mis en place pour venir en aide aux victimes de sinistre. J'ai récemment reçu la plaisante visite de l'agent Paulo et Scott, et je tiens à mentionner qu'ils ont tous deux été très amicaux. Rares sont ceux qui apprécient la visite d'inconnus au pas de leur porte lorsqu'ils viennent à peine de revenir du travail; j'ai moi-même l'habitude de chasser ces solliciteurs avec ma mauvaise humeur, mon sarcasme et mon humour noir. Mais cela ne fut pas le cas cette fois-ci. Avec son ton poli et patient, l'aura jovial et amical qu'il dégage, et sa bonne humeur contagieuse, Paulo m'a convaincue de faire mon premier don à la Croix-Rouge. En fait, je n'ai que peu de mots pour expliquer comment mon humeur changea lorsque j'appris le rôle véritable de votre organisme, et la qualité ainsi que l'efficacité de l'aide fournit; avant la visite de Paulo et Scott, la croix rouge n'était qu'un symbole dont je ne saisissais pas vraiment l'importance, mais le tout me fut très bien expliqué, j'ai d'ailleurs la forte intention d'inciter mes proches à faire comme moi, pour que plus puissent bénéficier de ses services et programmes! Il faut absolument que ce bon travail soit récompensé!

I recently received a pleasant visit from the agents Paulo (Saade) and Scott (Booth) and I want to mention that both of them were very friendly. Rare are those who appreciate a visit from strangers at their door while they are barely home from work. I myself have the habit of chasing them away with my bad temper, my sarcasm and my black humour. But this was not the case this time. With his (Paulo) polite tone and patience, with the happy and friendly aura he emits and a contagious good humour, Paulo convinced me to make my first donation to the Red Cross. In fact, I only have a few words to express how much my humour changed while he told me about the real role of your organization and the quality and efficiency of the help you give. Before Paulo and Scott's visit, the Red Cross was only a symbol, the important significance of which I didn't realise, but all was very well explained. Actually I have a strong intention to talk to those close to me to do like I did so that more people can benefit from these services and programs. This good work must absolutely be rewarded!

Hi, I'm sending this note to let you know about the fantastic job that two of your door to door canvassers are doing. We live in Pierrefonds, Quebec, and we were visited earlier this week by Scott and Eileen (not sure of their last names). As Eileen was new on the job, Scott did most of the talking and I have to tell you....this young man is very passionate, compassionate, enthusiastic and overall a very good spokesperson for the Canadian Red Cross. He impressed us greatly - he was very informative and yet not aggressive or overbearing. He is obviously very motivated by this cause and believes greatly in it. His energy and enthusiasm come through very clearly. He has made us think about the fact that there people right in our own neighbourhoods who need help. When we think of charity, often it's the third world that comes to mind, or places hit by disasters or war. We don't often think locally - in fact, when we look around our own neighbourhoods, we don't see people who need our help; we see the people that we think are better off than ourselves. So, it was a different perspective that Scott brought to us this week - he made us realize that there are people in our midst who need our support. While my husband and I have not had the chance to discuss our plans for helping the Red Cross and have not come to a decision on it, I did want to send you this letter of commendation to tell you how much we appreciated Scott's visit and to let you know that we feel he is doing a fantastic job spreading the word about your mission to help locally. Hello, I just wanted to congratulate you on your choice of reps for my neighbourhood. Madison and Melissa knocked on my door last night and discussed the local program you have available for charitable donation currently running. Unfortunately, I already contribute a charitable contribution through a payroll deduction so I could not participate but, I wanted to pass on my view of Melissa and Madison. Both came across as very courteous and professional and I wanted to give them accolades that they are great ambassadors for your organization. Being solicited from many different charities and companies that always "want" my money, their approach made me listen and not dismiss them as I usually do to someone that knocks on my door. I just wanted to pass that along and it was a pleasant surprise to the usual solicitation I get at my home.

J'aimerais prendre un instant pour vous ecrire a propos de Scott qui nous a sollicites pour une contribution mensuelle au nom de la Croix Rouge. J'aimerais souligner son grand professionnalisme, sa delicatesse et surtout, l'engagement dont il fait preuve envers votre organisme. Il a egalement fait preuve d'un grand cote humain, respectueux et a su placer les besoins de votre organisme avant les siens. Malheureusement, une contribution financiere de notre part n'est pas possible pour le moment, du a plusieurs contraintes. Jamais Monsieur Booth n'a fait pression et jamais n'avons nous ressenti un jugement negatif de sa part ce qui nous encourage justement a garder a l'esprit la Croix Rouge pour un eventuel don. A ce titre, j'aimerais beaucoup savoir comment nous pourrions eventuellement contribuer et que cela puisse lui beneficier de quelque facon que ce soit. Vous avez la une ressource de grande qualite, engage et motive a grandir au sein de votre entreprise. Ce sont aujourd'hui des qualites de plus en plus difficiles a retrouver chez du personnel. I'd like to highlight his great professionalism, his gentleness and above all the involvement he has towards this organization. He also showed proof of a wonderful human side, was respectful and knew to place the needs of the organization above his own. Unfortunately, a financial contribution from us is not possible at the moment because of several constraints. Never did Scott pressure us and we never felt a negative judgment on his part but encouraged us to keep the spirit of the Red Cross alive for an eventual donation. Because of this, I would like to know how to eventually contribute and how this could benefit him in whichever way possible. You have in him a great quality resource, motivated to grow through your company. Nowadays, these are qualities harder and harder to find. We hope, with all our heart, that you will 'invest' in him. Good day, Two days ago Montreal offered quite the spectacle by Mother Nature. The show included icy temperatures, high winds and roughly 25 cm of blowing snow. While most Montrealers, myself included, were drying off and warming up in their snug homes two young representatives of the Red Cross were out in the foul weather to solicit funding for the Red Cross. I can tell you that the street I live on had not yet been cleared by the snow removal crews so it must have been painfully slow going for the two reps and they must have been really determined or they would never have waded through the knee-deep snow leading up to my front door. And despite what must have been truly uncomfortable conditions both the young man Abakasanga and young woman were quite cheerful about their task and were quite personable. I have to congratulate them both on not just their determination but also on their positive attitude, both were refreshing. The Canadian Red Cross is to be commended for attracting such reps and while I was unable to sign up for the monthly donations which they were asking for, I will definitely make a donation as soon as I am able. If your staff believes so strongly in the Red Cross that they will brave storms on its behalf then the least I can do is make a donation.

I live in the West end of Montreal (West Island ) Quebec. I just wanted to send you some feedback on a meeting my wife and I had with one of your Red Cross representatives recently. Her name is Melissa; she was very polite and very pleasant to talk to. Although she was quite young, My wife and I were ever so impressed with the depth, sensitivity, and true genuine beauty of her soul and character. Most teenagers and people alike are a rare find in today's self serving and selfish society. It was a real treat and breathe of fresh air to encounter such a selfless giving spirit. Her passion for her work and unmistakeable professionalism are obviously a great asset to The Canadian Red Cross. Someone of this calibre definitely needs to be recognized and lifted up in this organization, in order to tap in to this wealth of joy and spirit that my wife and I experienced on that day.
In closing, it would be a privilege and honour to support the Canadian Red Cross knowing that there are treasures of wonderful employees like this in this.

Good evening, just to tell you how I appreciated the great work Scott and Madison did during their visit tonight. They were so pleasant and convinced about their assignment; I just had to let you know. Being a Red Cross volunteer myself, I even suggested to them, if interested, to become Red Cross volunteers too, because I saw in them all the nice and great qualities of a volunteer. They even succeeded in raising my donation from $15 to $20.

Flaurence, a new donor, contacted the Feedback line to praise Richard for being really helpful and nice, for having all the answers to her questions about the Red Cross and added, "Richard is definitely a good person to have in the community telling us exactly what's going on when sometimes we don't want to know what's going on. Being young myself, I don't know if I could do what he's doing. I can't say enough good things about him. He's a good person to have on your team. Rejection is probably high just because that's what the world is like right now. He's really good. He was so passionate with a smile on his face making you think "I want to be like you, I want to feel like you." He was awesome."
